Kurt Chapman completed his trade in Upholstery in 2003, working for a small, but diverse upholstery shop in Canberra until August 2009, he then moved to Newcastle seeking a sea change.

The knowledge and skills he gained from his 11 years of experience prompted him to take the next step in his career and open his own upholstery shop.

Now ten years down the track, the business has flourished, another three people have joined the team and the business has expanded in innovation, capabilities, scale of work and efficiency. Kurt and the team are always seeking to be involved in new and exciting upholstery projects in Newcastle.

The team at Chapman Upholstery are passionate about producing work of excellent quality, for projects of any scale that are either commercial or domestic. For a single chair or cushion recover, a lounge suite, indoor and outdoor cafe seating, club, hotel or new premises upholstery, in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, we've got you covered.
